Stay on target!

Of course, one week after I decide to start an Open_Duck_Mini V2, OpenBDX.org comes into existence. Figures, but I decided to stay on target.

There are many reasons for that:

• I think I've taken on enough with the BDX mini. I want that feeling of finishing it.
• To complete the BDX mini I'm learning 3D printing and basic electronics. That's enough for one project.
• The full size BDX is a more advanced project. I think it's more reasonable for someone with my skill level to try to build it after I finish a mini.
• The cost of the full size BDX is considerably more than the mini, which for me was around $650. I think the full size is in the neighborhood of $8k+.
• I think the parts of the full size build are much harder to get, or need to be custom manufactured.

So I'm going to stick with the BDX mini and learn all I can from that. Maybe there'll be a full-size BDX in my future after that.
